As a Friend, you will promote the interests of the museum, encourage people to visit our exhibitions and ensure we enjoy solid support in the town. Your enthusiasm and engagement are just as important as financial support.
Thanks to the Friends Association
The Association of Friends of Stedelijk Museum Breda has built a valuable collection. A number of items from the collection have been included in our new permanent exhibits The Nassaus of Breda – Castle, Town and Country and Ambition & Longing - Breda in the 19th Century. We are particularly proud to own the oldest view of Breda, which was purchased by the Friends.
Benefits for friends:
- you always have free access to the museum;
- you will be invited to special Friends’ receptions at the museum;
- you will be invited on cultural excursions organised by the Friends Association (and enjoy priority booking and discounts);
- four times a year you will receive a special newsletter containing information about the museum and the collection, plus lectures, artist talks and other activities.
Become a Friend or gift someone a membership
You can become a Friend for as little as €20 per calendar year. A partner membership (for two people living at the same address) costs just €35.
You may also donate more if you wish. The association is always happy to receive more income, which allows it to acquire more Breda heritage items and preserve them for the future.
