Popronde 2023

Thursday, November 16 is the Popronde in Stedelijk Museum Breda.

During this traveling music festival Djoeke and Tomas Ferdinand will perform in the museum cafe. Get ready for an evening full of fun and music.

Djoeke
Behind a quirky appearance hides a vulnerable singer. With her layered voice, the Frisian Djoeke sings of the female perspective in her, English-language chansons. As the daughter of an opera singer, drama is in her genes. Similar to Édith Piaf, but with stark instrumentation à la Portishead.

Tomas Ferdinand
Tomas grew up in The Hague and moved to Berlin at the age of 27 to pursue his musical career. He quickly found like-minded peers and created songs that are a unique blend of indie and pop. His EP "Weakdays," produced by James Chatburn, was released in April 2023 under Berlin's indie label St. Vladimir.
