This exhibition in the Next project space is the culmination of a project with students from secondary special education. The students created artworks based on a theme and, together with teachers and museum staff, designed the exhibition.
Against the Wind
The theme is also the title: Against the Wind. From a lighthearted approach to the subject with various windmills and wind in the hair to the deeper meaning of resistance and countercurrent. You literally blow through the exhibition: from breeze to storm!
'Our Nest' is the new name for the 'special secondary education expo' that we have organized three times before. This year we are working with students and teachers from Breda College, De Kei (Koraal), and Visio Onderwijs Breda.
Museum for and by the city
Stedelijk Museum Breda is a museum for and by the city. That's why we enjoy collaborating with secondary special education. The students get a platform for their creativity and can also discover the other exhibitions with their family and friends. With their original artworks, they give other visitors a glimpse into their own world of experience.
