"Stand up for each other" is the slogan on the poster created in Hoge Vucht. In Daan van Bommel's studio, the young people got to work with the riso technique (printing technique). You see an olive tree and doves spreading seeds from which new trees will grow. This symbolizes the seeds you plant when you talk about freedom, and how more and more people will then start discussing the topic of ‘freedom’. With this poster, the young people want to spread this message in the neighborhood.
Additionally, there is a lot of work being done in Heuvel, with angle grinders, paint, clay, and much more. But there is always time to record a TikTok with the artist.
And in Haagse Beemden, the young people aren’t making a sculpture. Here they’re working on a film. If you see a drone flying; this week they’re shooting the first scenes in the neighborhood.
