Diversity Academy
Unbounded invites you to look, to experience, and to think for yourself.
In recent months, 12 young people who participated in Diversity Academy, an initiative of Bo Diversity, have immersed themselves in photography and gender diversity. In collaboration with Stedelijk Museum Breda, they worked on one central question: "What are you missing in the museum?" This could be about representation in gender, diversity in ethnicity, a specific feeling, a special experience, a certain form – you name it! What followed was a creative process in which they captured their vision through photography.
Diversity Academy is a program where young people between the ages of 18 and 25 commit themselves socially, give free rein to their creative spirit, and meet peers. With a large dose of creativity, social enthusiasm, and the help of various experts, they work on finding their voice in the areas of sexuality, gender diversity, women's emancipation, and intersectional feminism, so they can then translate this into a photo report or spoken word.
