I see, I see what you don't see
Sometimes you see something that isn't there. And sometimes you look with your nose, your hands or even with your eyes closed. Ons Nest is an annual art project with students from secondary special education at Breda College, De Kei (Koraal) and Visio Onderwijs Breda. This year they made artworks about the theme I see, I see... what you don't see.
The artworks are about what the students see with their own eyes. But also about what lives in their minds: an animal that doesn't exist, a dream or an island full of wonders. They are made of all kinds of materials: paper, clay, paint and even a tent. You can look at them, but sometimes you can also smell, listen or touch them. Each work tells a story. Sometimes you see it right away, sometimes you have to look closer. Be surprised by what you see. And... by what you don't see.
