Looking for Parade Group Participants!

Carnaval 2026 is on its way! With the project De Parade, we’re creating something special: a carnival performance during the grand Optocht, centered around togetherness, creativity, and individuality. But… we can’t do it without you!
We’re looking for a group of enthusiastic volunteers to walk in the upcoming Optocht. Not just as extras, but as co-creators. There’s room for your ideas, your energy, and your input. The result? A collaborative performance.
What are we asking from you?
• You’ll help shape the concept of the act
• You’ll contribute to the design and help with the costumes and props
• You’ll attend the weekly rehearsals (see schedule below)
• You’ll walk in the Optocht on February 16, 2026
• No experience required – just the motivation to create something beautiful together!
Rehearsal Schedule
Every Thursday evening from November 13 to February 16, there will be rehearsals led by artistic director Juup Luijten.
Location: Beyerd (Boschstraat 26, 4811 GH Breda) or Elektron (Speelhuislaan 171, 4815 HA Breda). Final schedule to follow.
